Random House, led by Belgian saxophonist Thomas Champagne, has been steadily shaping its own sound over the past few years. Music rooted in post-bop, leaving space to breathe, but never afraid to stretch out when needed.
Following Sweet Day and Tide, the band returns with Keep it Up. An album moving between direct melodic statements, more open textures and sharper, driving energy. The music flows, conversations unfold, landscapes build without losing direction. Moments of suspension give way to electric tension, always with a strong collective pulse at the core.
With the arrival of French trumpeter Pierre-Antoine Savoyat and Ghent-based drummer Yves Peeters, the band’s sound gains new depth and edge. A new chapter, without changing course.
