Manolo Cabras is a central figure in our club. Hosting our jam sessions and participating as a sideman in numerous projects, it is only natural that we entrust him with presenting his new musical encounters and his latest ideas. Having arrived a generation ago from his native Sardinia, where he was Paolo Fresu's companion on the road for many years, he first played in Toots Thielemans's quartet before becoming an essential figure on the Brussels music scene. At the helm of his own projects, he makes music where freedom reigns supreme and jazz is a beacon in the fog. A unique and incomparable moment this evening at the Toots.
