In addition to having collaborated with McCoy Tyner, Chick Corea, Maria Schneider, and Eddie Gomez, Rick Margitza spent two years on stage with Miles Davis, with whom he recorded a live album at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1989. A happy coincidence: it’s also the birth year of pianist Joachim Caffonnette, who invites him to join his trio for a very special night at the Toots Jazz Club!
