One day, a friend offered Olivier Ker Ourio Affinity, the legendary album by Bill Evans with Toots Thielemans. This decisive discovery led him to the chromatic harmonica and shaped his journey as a jazz musician. In the lineage of the Belgian master but with a singular voice of his own, he has transformed this instrument into a true “mouth organ,” both lyrical and sensitive.
Recorded live in the intimacy of jazz clubs, his close partnership with Manuel Rocheman gave birth to Affinities — a deep and free dialogue between piano and harmonica, at the crossroads of Bill, Toots, and their own universe.
