He has performed alongside Bill Carrothers for many years, has been a loyal companion to Kris Defoort, a sideman on over 90 albums (including 5 as a leader), and with more than 30 years of career, his eclecticism has also led him to collaborate with Tom Barman in TaxiWars for over a decade.
Tonight, he presents a new trio featuring Italian drummer Umberto Odone, whose sense of swing, attentive ear, and refined touch have quickly won over the Brussels jazz scene, and Tunisian pianist Wajdi Riahi, who in just a few years has become one of the most fascinating figures in Belgian and international jazz thanks to his musicality, virtuosity, and elegant integration of Arabic influences in his playing and compositions.
