Erik Vermeulen Invites • Jazz Legend

Among the rich pool of great jazz pianists in Belgium, there is one who is admired by all and whom almost everyone has had as a teacher, whether in the conservatories where he taught or during summer workshops, where his deep knowledge of harmony opened new worlds to countless musicians.
I am, of course, speaking of Erik Vermeulen.

We are pleased to present a series of Sunday evening concerts in which he invites different musicians to share two sets, allowing his all-too-discreet genius to unfold before your astonished eyes and your ears fully awake.

For this edition, he is joined by the brilliant French bassist Géraud Portal and the young, virtuosic and highly musical Portuguese drummer Diogo Alexandre.
